Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Account: email, display name, password hash.
- Financial profile (only what you enter): gross income, monthly debt, credit score, rent/mortgage.
- Scenarios & reports: deals you build and PDFs you save.
- Lead inquiries: if you contact a dealer, we share the deal structure and your contact info with that dealer only.
- Usage: basic device/browser info via standard server logs.
What we don't collect
We do not pull your real credit report. We do not connect to your bank. We do not sell your data. We do not show third-party advertising.
How we use it
To run the affordability calculator, save your scenarios, generate PDFs, route inquiries to the dealer you chose, and improve the product. AI-advisor messages are processed by the Lovable AI gateway to generate responses; we don't share your identity with model providers.
Who sees what
- You: all of your own data.
- Dealers: only the deal structure and approval confidence for leads you submitted to them. Income, debt, and credit-score numbers are never shared.
- Admins: aggregated platform metrics and account/role management.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You can export a JSON copy of all your data and permanently delete your account (and everything tied to it) from your Account page. You can also email privacy@drivewise.app and we'll respond within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Row-level security ensures one user can never read another user's records. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes and screened against known-breach databases.
Retention
Scenario, report, and lead data is retained until you delete it or your account. Server logs are retained up to 30 days.
Children
The service is not directed at anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect data from minors.

We'll post material changes on this page and, where required, notify you by email.
